Come join us at the Mica Flats Grange for an opportunity to learn what’s new with CPR and how easy it is to use an AED.

What to Expect:

• Connect with folks who care about the welfare of their community. Bring friends.
• Mica Kidd Island Fire Protection District firefighters will be here to serve as your teachers and mentors.
• You will learn and practice basic chest compressions, designed to make saving a life easier.
• The Grange now has an Automated External Defibrillator, AED. Know it’s location.
• We will go through all the steps of using an AED.
• Learn about an AED app designed to let you know if there is an AED near you.
• Stay until you feel comfortable with basic chest compressions and AED use.
• If available, we will walk you through administering Narcan/naloxone for opioid overdose.
