The Grange (Patrons of Husbandry) is America’s foremost volunteer grassroots organization, comprised of families and individuals sharing a common interest in community involvement, agriculture, and in working together in a family environment. Through strong local leadership and innovation, the Grange contributes to a stronger and better way of life for all Americans.

How we make a difference:
- Provide our hall for elections, meetings (HOAs, Fire District, Highway District & Sewer District), weddings, reunions, memorial gatherings and various clubs such as 4-H and Happy Family
- Offer educational, technical, and music scholarships every year
- Host free Thanksgiving & Harvest dinners, community picnics & more
- Free hot meals to the Mica Kidd Island community during extended power outages
- Hosted “Bag & Boobs” sew days making over 150 drain bag aprons & pillows for breast cancer patients
- Host year-round monthly dances, card games & other community social activities
- Recognize those who serve as teachers, firefighters & policemen with yearly awards
Donations to:
- North Idaho Veterans Home, Post Falls
- Kootenai & Sacred Heart Hospitals: 327 cancer kits; 122 neonatal crib warmers & 40 post-surgical pillows
- Project Healing Waters, Spokane: funds for Alaska fishing trip for wounded veterans
- Eddy House: cash and pillowcases for drawstring backpacks for homeless & at-risk youth
- Deaconess Hospital: 272 neonatal hats in collaboration w/ 5-Mile Grange
- Lewiston Veteran’s Home: 66 quilts
- Union Gospel Mission: 24 homeless packs
- Kootenai County 4-H Endowment Fund
- Richland Shriner’s: 4 quilts
- Second Common Street Warming Shelter
- North Idaho STEM Academy
- National Multiple Sclerosis Society
- Idaho State Grange Deaf Activities
- Backpack Program: provide backpack w/ food for a weekend for one child x 1 year
- 4-H Teen Leadership Training Scholarships
- Healthfest: free breakfast & lunch to public
- Fresh Start: 129 pairs of socks and $192 from “Dance Your Socks Off” event
